The claim of the petitioner in this petition is for grant of compassionate appointment.

According to the petitioner, his father working under the respondent No.2 died in harness on 19.07.2014 and the petitioner since then has been approaching the respondent authorities for providing compassionate appointment. According to the petitioner, till date his claim for compassionate appointment has not been finally decided. 3.
Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case so far entitlement of the petitioner is concerned, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would be served if the respondent No.2 or the competent authority in the respondent No.2-Bank is directed to take a final
decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

It is expected that the respondent No.2 or the competent authorities in the respondent No.2-Bank shall take a final decision at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
