1. By this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has mainly prayed that the respondent authorities be directed to arrest respondent No.6 relating to FIR bearing Crime No.32/2018 for commission of offence u/s 354 of IPC and section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences

Act, 2012.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner who is father of the victim though had made a report against respondent No.6 u/s 354 of IPC and section 8 of the POCSO Act, but no investigation is being carried out till date and the accused/respondent No.6 is roaming freely. Learned counsel referred to FIR as also the complaint made to the higher police authorities (Annexure P-1).

3. Considering the fact that pursuant to the recent report made the FIR has been registered on 13.02.2018 vide Crime No. 32/2018, it is expected that the concerned police authorities i.e., respondents No. 4 & 5 shall proceed in the matter in accordance with the mandate of the criminal procedure code as early as possible. Respondent No.5 i.e., the SHO, Khairagarh, in particular, is directed to carry out the investigation and file suitable report within a reasonable time in accordance with law.

4. With such observation/direction, this petition stands finally disposed of.
