1. Heard.

2. The petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been brought with a prayer to rectify the crime number mentioned in the order dated 2.4.2018 passed in MCRC No.821/2018.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that actual crime number of the offence registered against the applicant is "165/2017" which is also mentioned in the certified copy of the order passed by the Sessions Court, Dhamtari. However, due to typographical mistake, in Para-2 of the order dated 2.4.2018 passed by this Court inadvertently the crime number has been mentioned as '165/2016' and as a result of which the Court below concerned has refused to accept the bail bonds furnished on behalf of the applicant, who is in custody.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the application and submissions made in this respect. It is submitted that there is requirement to call for the case diary to verify the contention made by the petitioner.

5. Perused the certified copy of the order dated 3.1.2018 passed by the Sessions Court, Dhamtari attached as Annexure-A1 in MCRC No.821/2018, and it appears that above typographical mistake, on the face, has occurred and the same needs to be corrected. Hence, the prayer made by the petitioner deserves to be allowed.

6. Accordingly, it is ordered that 'Crime Number No.165/2016' mentioned in Para-2 of the order dated 2.4.2018 passed by this Court in M.Cr.C. No.821/18 be read as 'Crime No.165/2017'.

7. A copy of this order be made part of the order dated 2.4.2018 passed in M.Cr.C. No.821/18.
