----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order on Board 30/04/2018 1.

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 12-12-2017. 2.

After going through the documents on record it is found after the order dated 12-12-2017 was passed, Chief Engineer directed the Executive Engineer to take necessary steps for compliance of the order of the Court vide his memo dated 08-01-2018, however, thereafter, the petitioner has not been communicated regarding the finalization of pension case in the light of the direction issued by this Court. It appears that the matter is pending in the office of Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts and pension, Bilaspur. In view of the direction issued by this Court, the concerned authority is under an obligation to ensure speedy finalization.

3.

Considering this aspect, it is appropriate to dispose off this petition at this stage. Let a copy of this order be placed by the petitioner before the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts and Pension, Bilaspur. If appropriate orders are not passed in the matter of finalisation of petitioner's pension case as the directions given by this Court at the earliest, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the contempt petition impleading those who are not complying with the directions of the Court.
