Objection raised by the Registry stands ignored for the moment. 2.

The issue involved in the instant case is that the order passed by the Respondent whereby they have ordered the Petitioner for payment of penal rent for occupation of government accommodation by the Petitioner. The Petitioner stood retired from service with effect from 31.7.2016. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that so far as the issue of penal rent sought for by the Respondent is concerned, the Petitioner has already made a couple of representation to the Respondent, which till date have not been considered. He submits that a suitable direction may be issued to the Respondent for considering the representation of the Petitioner at the earliest.

Learned State Counsel does not the oppose the same. 5.

The present writ petition stands accordingly disposed of with a direction to the Respondent to consider and decide the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with the rules applicable so far as the Petitioner's service conditions are concerned. 6.
