(1) Alleging that the respondent has not complied with the orders and directions issued by this court in W.P. (S) No.2784/2005, dated 26.11.2014 which has also been affirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A. No. 330/2011, the petitioner is before this court in this contempt petition.

(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that order passed by this Court in W.P. (S) No. 2784/2005 dated

18.03.2011 has partly been complied with by the respondent authority.

(3) On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent & Shri B.V.R. Subramaniyam, Secretary, Home Department jointly submit that order dated 18.03.2011 passed by this Court in W.P. (S) No.2784/2005 has been complied with in part and prays from and is granted 45 days further time to fully comply the order dated 18.03.2011. The Petitioner would be at liberty to revive contempt petition if statement made is not honoured.

(4) In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent and Secretary, Home Department, the contempt proceeding is dropped against respondent. Rule issued is discharged.
