Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Taking cognizance of the news report a suo moto PIL was registered by the Court. Looking at the nature of the allegation, the respondent authorities were directed to file their return. They have taken a stand that they are reviewing the situation very seriously and that they have taken disciplinary action against the concerned teacher as well. Efforts will be made to ensure that the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 is enforced and implemented in the letter and spirit.

It will be in the interest of the State authorities specially of the Education Department to work out modalities for regular inspection of such schools and mechanism for evaluation of the teaching work, which is being imparted by the teachers is worked out and mechanism put in place.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off with the above observations.
