The limited relief which the petitioners have sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent for ensuring that the salary for the period between April,2018 to March 2019 is released at the earliest without any further delay.

Counsel for the petitioners make a submission that all the petitioners in the present writ petition have in fact worked for the entire period between April 2018 to March, 2019.

According to the petitioner though they have discharged their duties , they were not permitted to mark attendance in the attendance register as was being done in the previous years.

Given the aforesaid contention of the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served to keeping this writ petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is

disposed of with a direction to the respondents No. 2 to 6 to verify as to whether the petitioners in fact have physically discharged their duties during the said period i.e. April 2018 to March 2019. 5.

Subject to verification of the aforesaid facts if it is found that the petitioners have in fact discharged their duties. The respondents are directed to ensure that the salary of the petitioners for the said period is released without any further delay. The respondents while verification shall also call upon, the petitioners to prove as to how have they discharged their duties during the said period. 6.

The respondents are further directed to ensure that even if the petitioners have discharged their duties under the placement agency then the respondent should ensure that the concerned placement agency releases the salary of the petitioner. It is expected that the respondent would conclude the aforesaid verification and take final decision so far as the salary of the petitioners is concerned within an outer limit of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
