The Challenge in the present writ petition is to the impugned order dated 07.05.2020 whereby the fair price shop operated by the petitioners has been suspended on account of certain alleged irregularities. 2.

The contention of the petitioners is that, they have already approached the Collector against the said decision of the SDO vide Annexure P/4 dated 15.05.2020 and prayed that the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

The said prayer was acceptable to the State counsel. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2-Collector, Balrampur to take a decision on the representation/appeal

-2that the petitioners have preferred against suspension of their fair price shop. The petitioners would also be at liberty to file a detailed appeal/representation in addition to what they have already made. The Collector, Balrampur is expected to take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of fresh appeal/representation.
