Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 18/04/2018 1.

The only grievance of the Petitioner in the present writ petition is that she be permitted to withdraw the appeal that she had filed before the Respondent No.2, i.e., the Collector, Bemetara, against the cancellation of the appointment of the Petitioner.

2.

According to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, the grievance of the Petitioner has since been redressed and she has been taken back in service and is still working and as such she does not intend to pursue the appeal and therefore filed an application for withdrawal of the appeal pending before the Collector. However, the Collector till date has not passed an order on the same and the appeal is still pending before the Collector.

3.

Given the factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the present writ petition is disposed of with a

direction to Respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application of the Petitioner within a period of 15 days from today. The Petitioner shall forthwith bring it to the notice of the Respondents regarding the order passed by this Court.

4.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
