This "public interest litigation" is filed, essentially, praying for equitable distribution of vaccines for Covid-19.

This petition was filed long back on 13.05.2021. 4.

Though it is stated in paragraph 3 (C) (V) that there is pending Suo Motu WPPIL No. 27 of 2021, dealing with the issue, Mr. Bakshi points out that the same had been disposed of on 19.03.2021 and the issue in that petition was in relation to disposal of hazardous waste. 5.

The case was listed on a couple of occasions. However, from the order-sheets, it is seen that arguments had not been addressed on merit for consideration and that no notice has been issued till date. 6.

Mr. Rastogi submits that during the last seven months, significant developments have taken place in the matter of vaccination of the population and therefore, the cause that was espoused, no longer survives. 5.

Having regard to the above, this public interest litigation is no longer entertained and the same is closed.
