Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 19/05/2021 1.

The present MCC has been filed seeking for extension of time for compliance of the order passed by this Court in WPS No. 897/2021, disposed of on 01.03.2021.

The learned counsel appearing for the applicants-Bank submits that because of the subsequent imposition of the Lock-Down and also because of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, the compliance could not be done within the stipulated period. The counsel for the applicants prays for a further extension of time so that the compliance can be done.

Taking into consideration the precarious condition prevailing in the State on account of COVID-19 pandemic and also the imposition of Lock-Down for almost 11⁄2 months, a justified ground has been made out by the applicant for further extension of time for compliance of the order.

In view of the same, the present MCC stands allowed. The applicants are granted further 60 days time for compliance of the order dated 01.03.2021 passed in WPS No. 897/2021. 5.

Let a copy of this order be made part of the record of WPS No. 897/2021.
