In the present Writ Petition, the petitioner is the wife of the deceased employee Satyam Ratre who died in harness on 11/08/2016. - 2.

The application for grant of compassionate appointment was filed by the petitioner before the respondent authorities. However, the respondent authorities have asked the petitioner to remain present along with the appropriate succession certificate issued in her name.

At this juncture, the counsel for the petitioner makes a submission that the issue pertaining to grant of succession certificate is already pending consideration before the Civil Judge (Class-1), Bilaspur. 4.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner obtain the succession certificate from the competent court of law and thereafter approach the respondent No.3 who in turn shall consider and process the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules and scheme applicable in the department. 5.
