Mr. Vipin Tiwari, Advocate for the respondent. The contempt has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 04.07.2018, passed in WPS No. 4359/2018.

Mr. Vipin Tiwari, Advocate appearing for the respondent today brought before this Court an order dated 27.08.2019, whereby the respondents as a policy decision have ordered for cancellation of the entire promotion process itself.

Given the fact that the respondents have dropped the promotion process, the order passed by this Court stands complied with. If at all, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the subsequent order passed, he would be at liberty to challenge the same before an appropriate forum. With the aforesaid liberty, the present contempt petition stands disposed off.
