1. The claim of the petitioner through the present writ petition is for grant of promotion from the post of Mali to the post of Gramin Udyan Vistar Adhikari.
2. According to the petitioner, a DPC was held on 05.05.2018 wherein the case of the petitioner was put for promotion.
3. Perusal of the record would show that the petitioner in fact had retired from service w.e.f. 31.03.2018.
4. In view of the same, let the petitioner make a suitable representation to respondents 1 & 2 in respect of his grievance for promotion and respondents 1 & 2 in turn may consider the claim of the petitioner whether he was entitled for promotion while he was in service or not and pass an appropriate order within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner along with the copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned.
