1. Heard.

2. The petitioner, who is working as contract employee, has preferred this writ petition for grant of revised contract pay.

3. Counsel for the parties would submit that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by an order passed by this Court on 10-5-2013 in W.P.(S)No.1442/21013, therefore, a

W.P.(S)No.5173/2016 similar order may be passed in this writ petition also.

4. In view of the above, it is directed that if the petitioner submits a representation for grant of revised contract pay, the competent officer of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh shall decide the representation strictly as per the direction and instruction of the State Government with regard to payment of contract pay.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that respondent No.4 is the competent authority of the concerned Department at the local level.

6. The representation shall be submitted by the petitioner within a period of 15 days from today and the said representation shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, on its own merits, as early as possible and, preferably within a period of three months from the date of submission.

7. With the aforesaid direction, the petition is finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
