The limited grievance of the Petitioner in the instant case is that he was appointed in service on 2.5.2013 and his probation period as such of 2 years completed on 2.5.2015. Thereafter, the Respondents were supposed to confirm to the services of the Petitioner, but till date the probation period of the Petitioner has not been confirmed by the Respondents in spite of repeated representations being made by the Petitioner. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that on an earlier representation the Respondents even passed an order on 26.12.2017 (Annexure P-4), the contents of which if taken into consideration the case of the Petitioner seems to be in the process of confirmation/regularization. 3.

Learned Counsel for the State referring to Annexure P-4 makes a submission that the case of the Petitioner is otherwise already in the process and as such there is no scope of any judicial intervention at this juncture as no prejudice whatsoever caused to the Petitioner.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the present writ petition itself is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the Petitioner for confirmation/regularization of his service as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt/production of certified copy of this order. 5.
