1. Heard.

2. These are the two applications filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.58/2021 registered at Police Station Newai, District Durg (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 294, 506, 323, 324, 326, 34 of the IPC and 25, 27 of the Arms Act.

3. These two applicants along with co-accused Manish and Nasim have inflicted injuries to injured Dhanraj Devar and Tikesh by means of sharp edged weapon. Even though the allegation of assault is levelled against co-accused Manish and Nasim, but at the same time, the applicants were also present at the time of the incident. The whole incident started in respect of these two applicants and moreover, applicant Chandrhas Aadil has two previous criminal antecedents, whereas, applicant Ajay Ram Mahar has five criminal antecedents.

4. In view of the above, I am not inclined to release these two applicants on regular bail at this stage.

5. Accordingly, the bail applications are dismissed. However, the applicants are granted liberty to revive the prayer after examination of the injured persons.
