1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.72/2020 registered at Police Station Ratanpur, District Bilaspur (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the IPC.

3. The applicant has committed forcible sexual intercourse with the prosecutrix, a mentally retarded deaf and dumb girl aged about 18 years. After the prosecutrix informed the incident to

MCRC No. 3509 of 2020 her father by gestures, she was taken to the applicant's house, on which, she identified the applicant.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to release the applicant on regular bail.
