Agrawal Order On Board 13/04/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner is encroacher upon the government land but as per clause 4.1.2 of the Rehabilitation Policy, 2007, he is entitled for rehabilitation & compensation and, therefore, he may be permitted to file application to the competent authority and the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.
(2) I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. (3) Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make an application before the District Level Committee presided over by the Collector for
appropriate relief. In the eventuality of filing application before the District Level Committee, the same shall be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of application. The Collector shall also see the alternative arrangements, which can be made for the petitioner.
(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
