1. Grievance of the petitioners is that though the petitioners' cases for regularization have already been recommended by the Nagar Panchayat Konta and proposal sent to the Directorate of Urban Administration and Development, Chhattisgarh, Raipur vide memo dated 22.8.2017, till date, at the Directorate level, no decision has been taken.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that presently the post of Commissioner has been abolished and therefore matter is required to be

-2decided by respondent No.2.

3. The petitioners have been working since long and there is a recommendation made by the local body for their regularization. Considering that the local body had sent proposal to the office of Directorate Urban Administration and Development which is not a party before this Court, it would be appropriate to dispose off the matter at this stage with a direction to the State to issue necessary instructions to the authority which is competent to examine the proposal of Nagar Panchayat Konta in the matter of petitioners' claim of regularization. The competent authority, as directed by the State, shall decide the issue relating to grant of approval/sanction within three months.

4. The petition is accordingly disposed off.
