Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has made an application on 12.02.2018 before respondent No. 3Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Durg for grant of social status certificate to his daughter but the same has not been considered and decided till date. 2.

Be that as it may, respondent No. 3 - Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Durg is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's application expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 3.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
