1. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that in order to acquire the land of the petitioner necessary steps have been taken and the Chief Engineer, National Highway has directed the appropriate authority for publication of notification under Section 3D of the National Highways Act, 1956.

2. In view of the above, the present contempt petition is closed. If within the reasonable time the compensation is not paid, then the petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition.
