(1) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been promoted on the post of Teacher (Panchayat) by order dated 10.10.2010 but his joining is not accepted, for which he made representation before the respondents authorities but as the same has not been decided till date, a direction may be issued to the CEO, Zila Panchayat, Mahasamund to consider and decide the same expeditiously.

(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Be that as it may, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Mahasamundr is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner and take appropriate steps for accepting the joining of the petitioner on the post of Teacher (Panchayat) in accordance with law within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Counsel for the petitioner may make additional representation, if any, within a period of 10 days.
