1. Petitioners had filed WPS No.188/2015 for grant of two advance increment on the ground that they have acquired the B.Ed./D.Ed. Certificates after 01-3-99, therefore, their case is covered by the decision rendered by this Court in the matter of Basant Kumar Sao Vs. State of Chhattisgarh & others {WPS No.3698/2013} and other connected matters, decided on 06-12-13 affirmed by the Supreme Court vide order dated 26-2-15 in SLP (C) No.6880/2015.

2. The writ petition was disposed of on 16-6-15 in terms of the order passed in the matter of Basant Kumar Sao (supra), the petitioners thereafter preferred a representation on 13-7-15, however, no decision has been taken by the competent authority till date.

3. A perusal of the order passed in the matter of Basant Kumar Sao (supra) would indicate that this Court had not fixed any outer limit for consideration of the case, therefore, the present contempt petition is disposed of with a direction that the District Education Officer, Dhamtari shall pass necessary orders on the representation filed by the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. While deciding the representation, the District Education Officer shall have due regard to the law laid down by this Court in the matter of Basant Kumar Sao (supra).
