HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet CRMP No. 480 of 2 Umar Imam Vs. State of Chhattisgarh 11.06.2021 Today the case is listed on office reference for extension of time to dispose of Special Session Trial No. 29/2018 (State of Chhattisgarh Vs. Umar Imam).

PUD has been received from the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court, Rajnandgaon (C.G.) with a request for extension of time to dispose of Special Session Trial No. 29/2018 pending before that court.

As request by the Presiding Officer of the court and on the basis of the submissions made in the PUD, I feel inclined to allow the prayer made in the PUD.

Prayer is allowed and extension of time is granted. Now 45 days have already been lapsed due to ongoing pandemic situation, therefore, further two months time is granted for conclusion of the case mentioned hereinabove.

The time given shall start from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
