2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a gross contempt has been committed in pursuant to the direction

issued by this Court in WPCR No. 145/2016 (Titash Banik v. State of Chhattisgarh) dated 23.12.2016. It is further contended that the petitioner is a complainant in FIR bearing No. 18/2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 120-B of the IPC and Section 7(C) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988. Though, the petitioner has lodged the FIR but the copy of the same has not been supplied to him.

3. After perusal of the order, no useful purpose would be served to stretch this contempt petition. The petitioner may approach the appropriate authority. Primafacie, omnibus direction cannot be given unless and until a particular incident of contempt is shown, which is not available in this case, therefore, the contempt cannot be issued for the order passed in the another writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy available to him under the law.
