1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent No.3/Superintendent of Police, Baloda BazarBhatapara has not taken a decision till this date on the case of the petitioner relating to compassionate appointment ignoring the fact that the petitioner's father has died on 28.4.2015.

2. Be that as it may, respondent No.3/Superintendent of

Police, Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara is directed to consider and take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within 45 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and respondent No.3/Superintendent of Police, Baloda BazarBhatapara shall consider and decide the representation in accordance with law on its own merit.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
