1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the application for compassionate appointment filed by the petitioner.

2. The facts of the case is that, the petitioner is adopted daughter of late Mem Bai Dewangan who died in harness on 22.03.2017 while working as Peon at Govt. Primary School, Telikot, Kharsiya, District Raigarh. After death of the deceased employee late Mem Bai Dewangan, the petitioner, her adopted daughter, moved an application for compassionate appointment on which the respondents till date have not taken any final decision.

3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if this petition is disposed of

with a direction to the respondent No.4 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with rules and regulations governing the field and also considering the scheme for compassionate appointment prevailing at the relevant point of time.

4. Accordingly, expecting the respondent No.4 to take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of four months, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
