NAFR HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Review Petition No.152 of 2016 Sonvati W/o Shri Ramdayal Halba, Aged About 50 Years (At Present 60 Years) R/o Village Dhaneli Kanhar, Tahsil, Civil And Revenue District Kanker, Chhattisgarh ---- Petitioner
Versus
1.
Dularibai W/o Mansingh Halba, Aged About 47 Years R/o Dhaneli Kanhar, Tahsil, Civil And Revenue District Kanker, Chhattisgarh 2.
State Of Chhattisgarh, Through: The Collector, Kanker, Civil And Revenue District Kanker, Chhattisgarh ---- Respondents For Petitioner :
Shri Sunil Verma, Advocate on behalf of Shri Punit Ruparel, Advocate.
For Respondent/State :
Shri Ravindra Agrawal, Panel Lawyer.
Hon'ble Shri Deepak Gupta, Chief Justice Order on Board 16/12/2016 1.
There is delay of 545 days in filing the review petition. The only ground stated in the application is that the Petitioner is old aged lady having no source of income and not having knowledge that she could file a review petition.
2.
The Petitioner in Second Appeal No.474 of 2006 was represented by a Counsel and the appeal was dismissed only on the ground that no substantial question of law arises. The Counsel should have advised the Petitioner that either she should file a review petition or she should go to the Supreme Court. When a Counsel represents a party then the duty of the Counsel is to guide the party in the matter.
3.
Therefore, I find no merit in the review petition. It is dismissed accordingly.
