The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the departmental appeal that the petitioner has preferred against his termination from service dated 30.05.2019.

The limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel. In view of the same, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to ensure that departmental appeal preferred by the petitioner on 21.06.2019 is concluded and decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
