Grievance of the Petitioner through the present writ petition is for the correction to be made in the GPF account of the Petitioner. 2.

According to the Petitioner, another employee, namely, Smt. Neelmani Thakur, in the same department where the Petitioner is working, had withdrawn certain amount from her GPF account. However, the said amount is said to have been entered into the account of the present Petitioner showing it to be withdrawn by the Petitioner. According to the Petitioner, he has not withdrawn the said amount and therefore there is an error in the entries made in the GPF account of the Petitioner. 3.

This being the dispute which has been raised by the Petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending or admitting the same, rather ends of justice would meet if the petition itself is disposed of with a direction to Respondents No.

-24 and 5 as also the Respondent No.2 to immediately scrutinize the GPF account of the Petitioner as also the said colleague of the Petitioner, namely, Smt. Neelmani Thakur. In the event if the GPF amount has been withdrawn by the said Smt. Neelmani Thakur, appropriate entries should be made in the account of the said employee, rather than making the entries in the GPF account of the Petitioner and the GPF account of the Petitioner be accordingly rectified after due scrutiny and an appropriate order may be passed in this regard giving due intimation to the Petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
