The order under challenge in the present writ petition is dated 7.7.2017 passed by Respondent No.4 whereby the services of the Petitioner has been placed under suspension.

The order under challenge is an appealable order under the provisions of Section 15 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999.

In view of the fact that there is a statutory alternative remedy available to the Petitioner which he has not availed, in the opinion of this Court, the present writ petition in its present form is not maintainable.
