(1) The order passed by the District Forest Officer under Rule 10 of C.G. Civil Services (Classification & Control) Appeal Rules, 1966 is appealable before the appellate authority namely Conservator of Forest.

(2) After arguing for fairly long time, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to file appeal before the Conservator of Forest and the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

(3) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(4) Be that as it may, if the petitioner prefers appeal before the appellate Authority i.e. Conservator of Forest within a period of three weeks from today, the same is expected to be decided by the appellate Authority within a period of three months from the date of presentation of appeal in accordance with law after hearing both the parties.

(5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
