1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that against the order of suspension under Section 40 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993, the petitioner has preferred an appeal along with application for stay before the Collector on 28.3.2018, but that has not been considered by the Collector till this date.

2. Be that as it may, the Collector, Balodabazar-Bhatapara is directed to consider at least stay application of the petitioner within 7 days from the date of production of certified copy of this order after hearing all

the parties. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
