(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made an application for grant of compassionate appointment on account of death of her husband namely late Ashish Kumar Shrivas, who died in harness on 02.02.2016 while was working as Police Constable in the department of respondents, which has not been considered and decided till this date in accordance with law by the respondent No.4 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Raigarh and, therefore, a direction may be issued to respondent No.4 to decide the
same, expeditiously.
(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.
(4) Be that as it may, respondent No.4 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Raigarh is directed to consider and decide on the pending application for grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. (5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
