1. The present MCC has been filed by Applicant seeking for extension of time for compliance of the Order dated 6.4.2021 passed by this Court in WPS No.1605/2021.
2. Learned Counsel for Applicant submits that because of the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown situation that was prevailing, the Order of this Court could not be complied with within the stipulated period and that they have now already started to comply with the said Order and prays for a short extension of time so that the Order could be effectively complied with.
3. The said prayer made by learned Counsel for Applicant - Bank is not strongly opposed by learned Counsel for Non-applicant No.1 - Employee.
4. On due consideration of the application and the pleadings, this Court is of the opinion that a further 45 days' time if granted to Applicant would serve the purpose.
5. Accordingly, the Applicant is granted further 45 days' time starting from today for compliance of the Order dated 6.4.2021 passed in WPS No. 1605/2021.
6. MCC stands allowed and is disposed of accordingly. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) JUDGE sharad
