The petitioner's grievance is that the petitioner's application for part withdrawal from GPF amount filed on 28-12-2017 has remained pending without any decision. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that at that time the petitioner required financial assistance for incurring expenses towards marriage of his son which ultimately was solemnised on 23-02-2018, however, as the petitioner requires withdrawal to settle loans which he had taken for incurring expenditure of marriage, his application requires due consideration.
2.
Learned State counsel would submit that pending application of the petitioner shall be examined and decided in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations governing part withdrawal from GPF amount within a period of 60 days.
3.
In view of the above, the petition is disposed off with a direction to examine and take decision to petitioner's application within an outer limit of 60 days by respondent No. 2, Collector, Bijapur from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
