Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner is entitled for promotion on the post of Assistant
Research Officer, but he is not being promoted, whereas his juniors have already been promoted. The petitioner has made several representations in this regard, but the same have not been considered and decided till date.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation shall be decided expeditiously.

Be that as it may, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation strictly in accordance with law within 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to cost (s).

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
