1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken up through video conferencing.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits

that though the petitioner has been promoted on the post of Head Master w.e.f 01.04.1981 on 09.04.2008 (Annexure P/8) but thereafter he has not been given due promotion and seniority on the post of Principal whereas he is entitled for the promotion on the post of Principal from the date his juniors promoted for which he has made representation on 24.01.2006 which has not been decided yet.

3. Be that as it may, respondent-State is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by passing a reasoned and speaking order. Petitioner is at liberty to file additional representation before the respondent-State within two weeks from today. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

4. With the aforesaid observation / direction the instant writ petition stands disposed off.
