Though number of grounds have been urged to assail correctness and validity of order dated 27.11.2012 by which the petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment was rejected, there is no explanation whatsoever in the petition as to why the petitioner did not file any petition for almost 5 years. In the absence of there being any specific pleading to satisfactorily explain the delay of almost 5 years, I am not inclined to entertain the petition and the same is dismissed as barred by delay and laches.
