1. This writ petition has been preferred for a direction to the respondents to grant compensation to the petitioners as their land has been acquired for the benefit of SECL, however, compensation has not been paid to them.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have

preferred a representation on 16.1.2016 (Annexure-P/3), which is yet to be considered by the SECL.

3. Considering the entire fact situation of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioners prefer a fresh representation within 2 weeks from today, the competent authority of the SECL shall decide the representation at the earliest, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of submission of representation.
