(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled for promotion in the category of physically disabled person for which, he has made several representations before respondent authorities, but till this date, no decision has been taken by the respondent authorities.

(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) Be that as it may, respondent authorities are directed to consider and take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case and the respondent authorities may decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. (6) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
