Shri Rahim Ubwani, counsel for the respondent on advance copy. Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 21/03/2017 The only grievance ventilated through this petition is that even though the matter has been referred to the Arbitrator under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956, in the matter of grant of appropriate compensation, decision has not been taken by the Arbitrator.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is disposed off with a direction to the sole Arbitrator to decide the matter as early as possible because if the matter is not decided within a reasonable time, the very purpose for adjudication through the Arbitrator under the statutory scheme of National Highways Act would be frustrated.
