After arguing for sometime the counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present writ petition with a prayer that he may be permitted to make a representation to the authority concerned for limited prayer that he be granted advantage of 10% relaxation on account of his being a reserved category candidate.

Counsel for the petitioner further submits that a policy decision vide circular dated 05.05.2012 was issued whereby candidates belonging to the reserved category candidate would be granted 10% relaxation in the minimum marks to be obtained by the candidate. 3.

Counsel for the State at this stage submits that so far as deciding the representation is concerned, the State does not have any objection. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned by making a representation for redressal of his grievances in the event the said representation is made the same shall be decided within a period of 3 months from the receipt of copy of this order.
