The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 13.01.2020 passed in WPC No. 97/2020. The direction in the said writ petition was for the respondent No.2 to proceed further with the application of the petitioner for grant of permanent caste certificate in terms of the provisions of law under the Act of 2013 as also the instructions and circulars of the State Government issued in this regard from time to time. 2.

Perusal of the record enclosed along with the contempt petition would reveal that subsequently the Sub-Divisional Officer has vide Annexure C/5 dated 07.02.2020 passed a final order and in the final order there is a reference of the order passed by this Court on 13.01.2020 in WPC No. 97/2020. Rightly or wrongly the final order has been passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer.

Under the said situation it has to be accepted that the order of this Court stands complied with. The veracity of the order dated 07.02.2020

cannot be tested exercising the contempt jurisdiction of this Court. The veracity of the order can only be tested exercising the writ jurisdiction and for which the petitioner would require challenging the order dated 07.02.2020 itself by way of a fresh petition. 4.

Reserving the right of the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies available to him, the present contempt petition at this juncture stands closed.
