1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that challenging the order of punishment, the petitioner had preferred an appeal, which was dismissed on 28.10.2015 and in the same order the petitioner was advised to avail the remedy of statutory review before the Managing Director, Food Corporation of India, Headquarter New Delhi. The petitioner has availed the statutory remedy of review by moving review application on 04.01.2016, however, the review application has not yet been decided.
2. Shri Sunil Pillai, learned counsel appearing for the respondent FCI, on advance notice, would submit that the petitioner's review petition shall be decided expeditously, preferably within a period of three months from today.
3. In view of the statement made, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. It is accordingly disposed of.
