2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were

initially appointed as Assistant in the year 1995, subsequently they were promoted to the post of Senior Assistant on 03.12.2014. Subsequently, the petitioners were to be promoted to the post of Accountant, however one person was promoted and despite the fact that 3 posts were lying vacant they were not being promoted and according to the Chhattisgarh Public Service (Promotion) Rules, 2003 the petitioners require consideration for promotion.

3. Learned counsel for respondents No. 2 & 3 would submit that the respondents are ready and willing to consider the case of the petitioners for promotion on its own merits and shall decide the representation filled by the petitioners (Annexure P-4).

4. Under the said facts, since the submission is made by respondents No. 2 & 3 that they would consider the eligibility of the petitioners for the promotion and shall decide their representation collectively filled from 19.02.2018, 07.09.2018 & 18.11.2019, no further adjudication at this stage would be required by this Court. Let respondents No. 2 & 3 shall consider the representation of the petitioners for consideration for promotion to higher post to which they are entitled according to their own merits. It is directed that respondents No. 2 & 3 shall start the said procedure of consideration within a period of 3 weeks and shall conclude the same within a further period of 4 months from the date for receipt of a copy of this order.
