1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that the respondent while granting pensionary benefits to the petitioner being counted the services of the petitioner from the date he was regularized in the department i.e. on 02/09/1997 onwards till he attained the age of superannuation on 31/12/2017.
2. According to the petitioner he has worked with the respondents as a Daily Wage Employee from 01/01/1985 till 01/09/1997, when he was regularized w.e.f. 02/09/1997 and that period spent as Daily Wage Employee from 1985 to September, 1997 also has to be treated as qualifying service for finalizing the pension and pensionary benefits.

Given the nature of dispute that the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner make a detailed representation in this regard to the respondent No. 1 & 2 who in turn after due processing the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the guidelines framed by the State Government so far as the counting of the period rendered as Daily Wage Employee for the purpose of pension and pensionary benefits, shall pass an appropriate order within a period of four months from the date the petitioner submits representation to the respondent No. 1 & 2.
