Order On Board 28/09/2015 Heard.

1. Grievance of the petitioner is that in the matter of laying of transmission lines, trees standing on the land of the petitioner have been cut causing loss to the petitioner for which he is entitled to suitable compensation.

2. Notice dated 13.3.2014 (Annexure P-1) shows that notice was given to the petitioner by the authority involved in laying of transmission line. The petitioner has made representation to the Collector for directing payment of appropriate compensation by the authority who has cut the trees for laying transmission lines.

3. The Collector shall decide petitioner's claim for compensation in accordance with the provision of the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006 framed in exercises of Powers under Section 176 read with Section 67 of the Electricity Act, 2003, within a period

of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
